Hello!I’m Witney Davis, a compassionate leader with over a decade of senior experience in the nonprofit and higher education sector. My leadership style is rooted in service excellence, operational strategy, and team development.I currently serve as the Assistant Director of Testing Services at the College of Western Idaho, the state's largest community college. I lead the daily operations of Testing Services with a high degree of autonomy, overseeing two busy testing centers and ensuring a seamless experience for both students and professional candidates. Leading two testing centers can be challenging. It demands strategic oversight, clear communication, and the ability to juggle competing priorities. Never being satisfied with the status quo, I don’t just manage operations — I improve them. I’m continuously seeking ways to enhance the testing experience for both candidates and staff, ensuring that excellent service is the norm. Since stepping into my current leadership role, I’ve reduced the turnover rate by 75%, implemented new streamlined scheduling processes, and increased professional development initiatives for the entire team. I have found that by investing in people, processes naturally follow. My goal is to make work as efficient as possible for the people under my care. As a leader, I have found that knowing your strengths is key to suceeding. I believe strongly in the Clifton Strengthsfinder assessment and use it as a tool to assist in unlocking potential. My top five strengths as of 2025 are: Developer, Consistency, Responsibility, Discipline, and Achiever. These natural talents empower me to lead strategically, fairly, and always with integrity.
